We would like to first of all thank you for taking the time to visit our site. We hope your experience here exceeds your expectations. Our Program here at Scratch Or Die Kennels is plain ,simple ,cut and dried!!! That is to Breed the Best to the Best!!! The modern day gene pool of what True pitbulls were supposed to be (in my opionion) is overwhelmed with garbage. This is because there are so many puppy mills (so called breeders breeding any two dogs to get a litter to sell and overcharge)  in the bulldog industry. Here we strive to preserve and carry on what a TRUE pitbull is supposed to be, so our breedings are very tedious and selective. All dogs bred by us have been put through several test of strength, stamina, ability, and determination.  All testing is in accordance with the 1976 Animal Welfare Act. (testing at Scratch Or Die Kennels consist of weight pulling, hang time, conformation, and endurance events)

Our bloodlines here consist of pure Toney bred dog, Toney/Colby dogs, and heavy Red Boy/Jocko/Jeep dogs. 

For those of you wondering what the Toney Line is, it is a line that has been bred over the last 30 years directly off of the same blood that major champion bloodlines that are known today have been bred from,the only difference is that this strain has stayed consistent because of the breeding program, therefore keeping the line tight bred and not scatter bred. These dogs are well known to dog fanciers who respect and know what the meaning of the TRUE breed was bred to preserve. This line has definitely been bred to keep a consistant gene pool of great game dogs of the past. These dogs have been proven through strenuous events also,(all in accordance with the 1976 Animal Welfare Act). Special thanks to HT and Mel in W.V. for creating and keeping true this beautiful breed of intelligent dogs.    

We have access to alot of information about the well keeping and health tips for your companions. This breed must not be neglected!!! These animals must be supervised as with any pet, but being Extremely hyper and active, it is a must to bond and spend time with YOUR PET!!! 

You are responsible for your pet and his or her actions, so as a responsible pet owner you should have Total control over your bulldog. You should respect your Pit as it should respect YOU. Always check you hardware set ups, make sure chains,swivels, links,collars and locking units are functioning properly and secure. This will reduce the risk of yard accidents!!! (We make it a habit to check each at feed out EVERYDAY)
